Cheap flights are available from Gatwick to Tolouse, from Southampton to Bergerac and from Stanstead to Limoges. A new airport, Brive Vallee de la Dordogne, has recently opened and has flights from London city airport and Manchester.The cost varies with season, day of the week and the time interval from the booking to the flight. It is worth booking well ahead. Midweek is considerably cheaper. You can hire a car from all of these airports which are about 2 hours drive to the property except Brive Vallee de la Dordogne airport which is about 35 minutes drive away..

By Car

We are approximately 500 miles from Calais, all but the last 20 miles being on motorways. The journey takes about 7 hours plus stops. There are a variety of ways of getting to Calais, the tunnel and various ferries from Dover and Folkestone. Coming from the west country, it may be more pleasant to take a ferry from Portsmouth to Caen, or from Weymouth to Cherbourg or St. Malo. These routes take longer at sea but reduce the distance to drive.
